You will see a huge improvements on your NVME m.2 drive tho, keep in mind the performance is relative to your rig. I have confirmed with a friend that HDD's dont benefit much from this fix / workaround.Also low-end SSD's also dont really benefit much as high end NVME's do but its still noticable difference from HDD. Ok so to cut it short and to guide how to get maximum juice and remove this odd limit to your steam. So the problem relies in steam somehow being throttled by your OS in this case i only found a workaround for Windows 10, probably works for Windows 7/8/11 (unsure). No worries as I was in the same boat, well technically still am lol as steam is the only launcher with this issue that i will be giving a temp fix for here today.
